The Indonesian government is currently promoting the use of environmentally friendly energy but the use of environmentally friendly energy in Indonesia is still very expensive. Indonesia's natural gas has abundant reserves and the results of previous research have stated that natural gas is a natural energy that is non-renewable but the most environmentally friendly compared to other fossil fuels. PGN as a company that is part of a BUMN subsidiary group supports the government's program by continuing to popularize the use of natural gas as a substitute for other fossil energy for household consumption so that each project needs to be carried out in feasibility calculations so that the projects carried out are profitable for PGN. The stages of research are distinguished from problem discovery, preparation of research questions, determination of methodology, analysis, selection of solutions as well as conclusions and recommendations. The assumptions used in this research are financial assumptions that have occurred in Indonesia. The methodology used this time is a method in the form of capital budgeting analysis accompanied by sensitivity and Monte Carlo simulation to test the financial side. In addition, there is an internal and external analysis of the company to get justification and supporting facts. The results of this research suggest PGN to carry out the city gas network creation project with predetermined assumptions and criteria. The variable parameters that greatly affect the feasibility of the project this time are selling prices, household gas connections and capex. This research also detects that 18.2% of projects will fail due to a negative NPV. It is hoped that this research can serve as a reference for parties related to the City Gas project development. text |
