Capsule which has a good spherical shape is acquired by using Na-alginate and CaCl2 with 1:1.5 ratio. The microcapsule which has been made have a 1.28 mg Cu2+/g retention capacity in pH 7 with 20 minutes minimum contact time. This microcapsule has been tested to fill minicolumn for developing preconcentration method based on flow injection analysis (FIA). text
