Stepping in tough competion, every company will try to survive PT. Dwipapuri Asri, one of the Indonesian furniture industries has to face the competion even from local and foreign competitor. <br />

Using brand Sigma as product brand, PT. Dwipapuri Asri has to be consistent to fulfill the order from the customer in time. Make to order process is the chracteristic of the company because the production is based on job order. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Unproperly schedule between production schedule and realization often makes delay in product delivery. Inspired by this matter, the author intended to conduct research about factors that makes that variance. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
By comparing theoritical production schedule and actual production schedule we can see how much delay happened. Dy observing and interviewing the management and worker, we can know the reason of the delay. <br />
<br />

<br />
The author tries to describe the observation and the interview by summarize and serve it with fishbone diagram. Fishbone diagram is not the best method but it quite easy to be understand. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Pased on the evaluation, the author intended to aid management by give them alternatives suggestions. The author hoped that suggestion made the management could handle the issues easier. |
