The light sensor is an important component of a spectrophotometer, which measures the intensity of light over a range of wavelengths. The proposed light sensor consists of a diffraction grating to separate wavelengths, and a camera to convert light into electrical signal. The light sensor is calibrated by determining the relationship between the wavelength of the light and the pixel location. The light sensor is capable of distinguishing wavelengths in the range of 400 to 700 nm with a wavelength resolution of 0.77 nm and a transmittance resolution of 0.11%. text |
