| Summary: | Flood is one of the problems that often occurs in the Special Capital Region
of Jakarta. One method that can be uses to deal with the flooding problem is polder
system. In this study, a polder system plan will be made with the study area in the
Artha Gading area. The Artha Gading polder system is designed with a catchment
area of 2.6 km². The design of the polder system includes one detention pond with
a capacity of 15,000 m², 3 pumps with a capacity of 5 m³/s, 4 sluice gates, and an
elevation of the drainage embankment within the polder system. The construction
of this polder system can reduce flood water level so that no flooding occurs in the
Artha Gading area. The budget plan for building the Artha Gading polder system
is Rp. 77,605,640,879.
