However, with the development of industry in Indonesia, industrial processes as a form of human activity will increase the level of water pollution if not managed properly. Therefore, in 2019, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia issued Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.80/MENLKHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/10/2019 concerning Continuous and Networked Wastewater Quality Monitoring For business and/or activity. This forced the twelve industries listed in the regulations to comply with the provisions regarding environmental quality standards and send monitoring data on several parameters related to their waste quality continuously using an online system. To meet the requirements in the regulation, an online wastewater quality monitoring system was created. This system is designed for the Pulp & Paper and Textile Industries, two of the 12 industries named in the regulation. This tool is designed to be able to read the three mandatory parameters stated in the regulations: total suspended solids (TSS), acidity (pH), and ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N). Part of this tool is a webserver subsystem that can receive wastewater parameter readings and display the results on an online user interface so that the industry can know the monitoring results as well so that the results of waste treatment can be evaluated by the industry and immediately handled if there are deviations from normal values. This user interface also helps remote tool management with online tool calibration and configuration functionality. For the implementation of a Web Dashboard and User Interface that monitors the quality of liquid waste for the pulp and paper industry as well as the textile industry. This Web Dashboard and User Interface has four main functions, namely managing the user login/register flow, displaying a graphical display of the results of sensor data retrieval related to the user, handling admin user input in the form of configuration data and calibration data. To handle these functionalities, a nginx-based server is implemented with NodeJS and Express framework with Atlas MongoDB as cloud database. text |
