An optimal coal exploitation strategy is needed to meet domestic needs while meeting the demands of the coal export market. In reality, the need for coal for domestic electricity supply in some periods is not met. One of the identified causes is the inequality of domestic coal prices with coal export prices. This study approaches the cost of goods produced from the coal mine side and the production costs of non-mine-mouth coal-fired power plants, as well as coal transportation costs, to determine the appropriate domestic coal price. Observations were made to three coal-fired power plants with a capacity above 1000 MW and their respective coal supply mining companies. The results obtained are the amount of coal production cost of PT Bukit Asam of USD 37,97/ton, for PT Adaro Indonesia was USD 30,20/ton, and for PT Arutmin Indonesia it was USD 30,14/ton. The amount of coal transportation costs is included in the calculation of the selling price of coal and the selling price of coal from PT Bukit Asam is USD 57,04 / ton, for PT Adaro Indonesia it is USD 47,78 / ton and for PT Arutmin Indonesia it is USD 46,32 / ton. The electricity generation cost for the Suralaya power plant is Rp 1.524 /kWh, for the Paiton Energy power plant it is Rp 1.432/kWh and for the Paiton PLN power plant it is Rp 1.417/kWh. Lastly, the amount of domestic coal prices for coal from PT Bukit Asam, PT Adaro Indonesia and PT Arutmin Indonesia when the back analysis adjusted the quality specifications of 6322 kcal/kg gar respectively to USD 78,61/ton, USD 55,78/ton and USD 59,85/ton. text |
