Geotechnical design of this project include soil improvement design, deep foundation design, and retaining wall for basement area. For soil improvement design, fill preloading, prefabricated vertical drain, and staged fill construction is used. Deep foundation design uses precast reinforced concrete driven pile that is grouped together with pile cap that has various configuration and dimensions. Retaining wall used for this project is steel sheet pile. Design process for this project uses manual hand calculations and computer modeling with PLAXIS 2D, LPILE, and GROUP. text
