Description
Summary:Indonesia has abundant reserves of oil and natural gas used for fuel. An offshore platform is a structure used to explore and exploit offshore oil and gas reserves. In the construction of an offshore platform, one of the stages of work carried out is the loadout process. The loadout process is carried out by moving the structure (both jacket and deck) that has been fabricated from the land to the barge. Therefore, a berth is required for the loadout facility in Tanjung Uncang, Batam City, Riau Islands. This Final Project will discuss the design of a deck on pile type structure for loadout facilities based on the criteria used. The topic of this Final Project includes environmental data processing, calculation of loads acting on the berth, determination of berth dimensions, analysis of the berth structure, reinforcement design of the berth structural elements, and analysis of soil bearing capacity. Analysis of the berth structure is carried out using SAP2000 software to check the strength of the structure against the working loads. Modeling results in the form of Unity Check Ratio (UCR) values that must meet the permit criteria between 0.8 to 1, deflection values not exceeding the permit deflection, internal forces that serve as data for reinforcement design, and sprung reactions that serve as data for soil bearing capacity analysis.
