Previous studies examining the combination of contextual warning labels of health and prevention of smoking on cigarette packs as well as its impact on the motivation and interest to quit smoking by using the warning label an image as the variables that affect interest in quitting (Jeremy et al., 2006).In the study, the use of smokers in Indonesia as research objects. Researchers examined the effect of the combined use a warning, warning of the use of cigarettes in Indonesia in accordance with the regulations of health ministry which uses five types of combinations and analyze the impact on interest in quitting smoking in the context of health warnings in Indonesia today. The findings show that the use of a combination of five types of warnings in cigarette packs resulting in a greater influence on personal interest to quit smoking. In addition, the findings also showed that the combination of warnings used in Indonesia that also increase the emotional impact consumers like variables that affect the mindset to be motivated to quit smoking compared with the previous policy that only uses two kinds of warnings. It was also found interaction effects between combinations of alerts that are currently used against the interest quit smoking. The researcher also to offering the results of the findings of the impact of cigarette packs and recommendations for future research. text |
