Project management also can make the project more effective and efficient, which will lead to have maximal result. PT Rekayasa Industri was established based on Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 Year 1981. In a highly competitive industry, PT Rekayasa Industri has a multidisciplinary competencies, proven project management skills and demonstrated commitment. PT Rekayasa Industri has evolved to become an internationally certified integrated EPC and industrial solutions company with over 30 years of proven success in delivering high quality, efficient solutions for customers in and stated that they have strong project management abilites and global suppy chain for fast procurement. The study is about a project that planned to start on June 27, 2011 and planned to be finished on April 8, 2013. But, in the actual the project can not finish on time, although it is started on schedule. The project finished almost one year late, exactly in March 30, 2014. In the process, PT Rekayasa Industri found some problems that occured that makes the project finished late. The project delays will be analyzed through systematical methodology to find root cause that makes the project finished late using Ishikawa Diagram and find the best solution as a feedback that can be given to the company. This research will focus on find the root problem of the construction delay that happen in several tasks and give the feedback to the company. The analysis shows that PT Rekayasa Industris' project finished late caused by several reasons. s s five aspects with its causes. The most powerful delay is caused by human error. The recommendation given to the company is to increase the ability of workers to reduce the delays in this aspects. Way to increase the ability is by doing a training, hire more professional person, recruit the third party, or give penalty if the drawing is late. The expected results are the delayed in this aspects can much reduce and make the future project will finish on time. |
