The participation of people in planning the pension is related to the existence of Pension Fund as a product, and the basis of Customer Lifetime Value support the issue addressed. Therefore, the remaining number of participation is a potential for Banking and Financial Institutions to reach the market. The types of applied pension fund in the country is explained. From three kinds of pension funds, the study focuses on Financial Institution Pension Fund (FPIF) with independent participation. The research attempts to examine the current condition of Personal Pension Fund Intention and its relationship to Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Behavioral Control. Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) by Ajzen and Fishbein (1980) was adopted in this study as the intention to use Personal Pension Fund is voluntary. Online and offline questionnaire using Likert Scale was designed to 349 respondents in Jakarta and Bandung with purposive sampling method. The questionnaire was measured by Path Analysis to explain the relationship between the exogenous and endogenous variable. This study finds that attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control are significantly related to the intention to use personal pension fund. The study is expected to provide a valuable result regarding the significant relationship between Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Behavioral Control towards intention to use Personal Pension Fund in Indonesia. It is supposed to be useful for practitioners and the academician to support the strategy and the references of related areas. text |
