Summary:The halal sector is growing in both Muslim majority and minority countries as the growth of the Muslim population itself increases, so is in Indonesia. This sector demand is not only limited on consumer goods from manufacturing industry but it also has embraced service industry, such as hospital. Muslim patients start questioning about the halal assurance of the catering they received in hospital. Thus, this research is conducted as an analysis of halal logistics adoption in the production of catering in Santosa Hospital Bandung Central. Qualitative data related to the research is gathered and analyzed by performing soft system methodology that includes interview, observation, creating rich pictures, root definition analysis, and building conceptual models. The data is validated using triangulation method. The findings show that the implementation of halal logistics system has created implications for the purchasing requirement, handling, and cooking process. It also implies recommended solutions for the obstacles faced during execution. This research can be beneficial for the hospital itself in order to evaluate their performance. Besides, it will also contribute to the community by giving a glimpse of halal logistics adoption especially in hospitality industry.
