Unfortunately, some commercial devices in market are very expensive, so they are only affordable for certain groups, such as established cosmetics manufacturer. The skin replica is made within a period of time and during that period, the subjects skin will be given a kind of moisturizer, which its efficacy hasnt been known before. Analysis process for testing the cosmetics efficacy, especially moisturizers, could be done by using image processing methods. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In this project, the analysis process consists of some steps, such as digital image acquisition process, digital images pre-processing, features extraction, comparison process with those reference parameters from a commercial device, features selection process, and building some models of artificial neural network. The system modeling process using neural network will produce some parameter values that represent skin texture condition, within certain period of time. The inputs of this system are skin replica digital images and the outputs are some parameter values that could represent the skin texture condition. <br /> text
