Communication between human and machines using voice has become a trend in the modern world. The simplicity in using voice commands becomes primary reason why speech recognition is developed.

A speech recognition based on English language has been developed by Claudio Becchetti, a professor mastering theoretically and implementation of C working together with Lucio Prina Ricotti, an expert in digital signal processing from Roma who developing a concept of Hidden Markov Model (HMM). Speech Recognition developed by both of them is a very complicated system as wise speech recognition (SR) system generally. But their speech recognition system is very modular software, that it has a great potential to be developed.

The development of their SR system needs an adequate knowledge about how system works and the data required to operating it. Without any tool, those requirements to develop the system need a long time, and as the results the development of the system becomes unacceptable. A documentation of the system needed to shorten the time which is use to understand the system.

The documentation is done by applying reverse engineering from that SR systems. In this Final Project, the documentation is explained using Unified Modeling Language (UML), a standard language for documenting and modeling a system.
