| Summary: | The capital market is a place to engange in investment activities with various investment product, one of which is stocks. PT XYZ, as one of the securities trading intermediaries, has the responsibility to provide research results related to stocks, which will serve as a recommendation for investors. However, the recommendations provided are limited compared to the entire stocks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange, so investors may not receive recommendations regarding the stocks they own, buy or sell. Therefore, PT XYZ needs a decision support system design so that employees or investors, both individual and group, can easily make decision regarding buying or selling stock investment.
To make these decisions, stock price prediction is performed using attributes such as date, volume, open, high, low and close as the label to be predicted. The prediction is made using stock data obtained from Yahoo Finance, which is then processed using Rapidminer software with a neural network algorithm. In this study, the stocks used are PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI). The result of the data processing will then become the input for the design of the decision support system. The design of the decision support system is created in VBA Macro in Microsoft Excel Software. The design will provide buy, hold, or sell decision for investors, depending on their position at that time
