Deformation monitoring of Batur volcano had been done with several geodetic metods, one of them is InSAR Technology. InSAR is Radar imagery that exploit phase, amplitudo and wavelength information to process determination topographic and deformation. Processing method to determination deformation is differential interferometry, that is two-pass method, with DEM external data is needed as interferogram for removing topographic feature. As much as 15 image of ERS-1 and ERS-2 SAR image is used by this process, in an observation since 1996 until 2001. The result are deformation model of pair image 199604023 & 19960424 of 1996-2000, and giving inflation (uplift) information of a surface volcano about 0.04-0.1 meter, and so deformation model of pair image 19980114 & 20000119 of 1998-2000, and giving deflation (subsidence) information about 0.01-0.02 meter. text |
