Summary:Numerous studies investigates the workings of the cryptocurrency protocol, safety, privacy, and consumption factors from technical side but little has explored the acceptance of its exchange platform specifically. Conducting research in Indonesia, this research aimed to investigate the relationship between cryptocurrency exchange platform users and their use behavior. Using a panel survey of approximately 400 respondents across cryptocurrency exchange platforms, this research examining the relationship between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived privacy, trust, perceived security, behavioral intention, and use behavior. Quantitative method is applied and the data are processed using PLS- SEM. The result are factors that support intention to adopt cryptocurrency exchange platform is performance expectancy, perceived privacy, trust, perceived security. Besides, intention to adopt has significant relationship with use behavior. There are implications that need to be addressed by cryptocurrency developer and exchange platform. The implications are cryptocurrency should deliver good performance to users, address privacy and security concerns, provide education for the users, and analyze users’ data to improve quality continuously.
