Description
Summary:Bosscha Observatory is the oldest astronomical observatory in Indonesia which is located in Lembang, West Bandung Regency, West Java and has entered its 100th year in 2023. The challenge is to always be at the forefront of advancing Indonesian and world astronomy as well as preserving the values of its history demands the design of a visual identity that can represent the spirit of the Bosscha Observatory's contribution over the past century. The research was carried out by means of literature study, the results of which were analyzed using descriptive and narrative methods to form a brand brief. The brand brief is translated into a visual concept through look & feel, visual elements, color determination, typography and visual assets. Once formed, identity is applied in promotional media, event media, and social media. To maintain consistency, guidelines are also designed for asset management.
