To achieve this goal, Bank Indonesia established a National QR standard called QRIS as a financial inclusion and non-cash acceleration program to embrace the digital economy. This research aims to identify the factors influencing the intention to adopt the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among Generation Z respondents in Bandung, Indonesia, to strengthen the National Non-Cash Movement (GNNT). The study employs the UTAUT2 framework, incorporating Perceived Security and Trust as additional variables. Data from 236 respondents are analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that Habit is the most significant factor influencing behavioral intention to adopt QRIS. Moreover, Habit and Behavioral Intention positively affect Actual Usage, while Trust impacts Behavioral Intention. Enhancing habitual usage and Trust among Generation Z users is crucial for increasing QRIS adoption. Recommendations include user-friendly interfaces, rewards, and collaboration with a broader range of merchants to foster habit formation. Robust security measures and transparent communication should be emphasized to build Trust. These efforts can strengthen the GNNT and promote financial inclusion in Indonesia. However, limitations include the study's focus on Generation Z respondents in Bandung, which may limit generalizability. Future research should consider broader samples and explore additional factors to provide further insights for policy recommendations. text |
