and football lovers themselves. One of the interesting things to study in football
is the selection of team formations. In this final project, research is conducted on
how game theory can be applied in choosing a formation to be used by a team in a
match against a certain team. The formation selection model is constructed using
normal form game in game theory. The model that has been created will be solved
by finding a Nash equilibrium. The teams that will be used as objects are teams from
the English Premier League in the 2022/2023 season. Choosing the right formation
is very important because it increases a team’s chances of winning in a football
match. |
