In this research was designed and implemented application based on mobile web services with J2ME technology. The application uses a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) through Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to send a request to a service existing in the Uniform Resource Locator (URL). The application Client was implemented to Nokia E70, Nokia 6110 also Sony Ericsson K530i with MIDP2.0 profile. The application can operate well on the handset in order to access SOAP server using GPRS connection The result of functional test was suitable with the requirement. The farmer successful to send data from client to server and also the client can get data from server. Test result show that the average access for technical assistant is about 3,6 Kbyte. For gapoktan is about 8,07 Kbyte, and the government is about 2,3 Kbyte. The fee for GPRS access less then 10 rupiah. With access time less then 1 minute and the fee less then 10 rupiah, so the farming production will be more cheaper and successful. text
