This project is located on Citra Green Street, Citra Green Housing Complex, Ciumbuleuit, Bandung City and has a site area of 15.222 m2. This site is chosen due to the natural elements surrounding the site and the presence of supporting facilities such as hospitals or tourist spots within close proximity. The user characteristic and site condition defines the design issue of this project, which is utilizing site contour and natural elements to create a comfortable, interactive, and restorative elderly living environment. The biophilic design method is used as an approach for the issue. The concept of this project focuses around three main elements, which is the elderly, community, and nature. These elements become the baseline for the facilities provided within the project. The buildings inside this project is arranged so that an elderly could access every building by walking for 6 minutes, which doubles as exercise. The site landscape is also designed so that the elderly may enjoy scenic views while walking. This project consists of six primary buildings connected through paths and ecotherapeutic garden. The accommodated functions are senior living, senior daycare, therapy center, inn, and prayer room. The utilization of site contour allows the usage of semi basements and reception area located below the span of a primary building. These buildings have a combined area of 4186.05m2 alongside the ecotherapeutic garden, which serves as a public place, with an area of 4718.82m2.
