One of them is the textile industry sector which is growing rapidly in Indonesia. Biocomposite is an alternative material combining matrix and natural fibers to improve its mechanical properties. The biocomposite in this study consisted of gelatin and agar-agar as the matrix, while Garut sheep wool was used as filler. Biocomposites have suitable characteristics for making textiles, such as in the form of sheets, have strong tensile strength, and have adjustable thickness and elasticity, so they have the potential to be used as artwear products. The final work takes visual inspiration from various coral forms in the sea. The production stages include making the materials, manufacturing modules using the smocking technique, and installing to the final product. Smocking techniques in artwear products are used to optimize shape and texture to produce new visuals and images. text
