Description
Summary:Social media allows its users to share personal data, both general and sensitive, which can lead to oversharing. Without good protection, sensitive personal data can be used by malicious parties. One form of crime that utilizes sensitive personal data is doxing, which is the disclosure of a person's personal information without permission with the intent to defame an individual. Teenagers have the greatest potential for oversharing because they are in a period of emotional development and have a high desire to create a positive image, especially through social media. The purpose of the design is to present information and design an animation about protecting personal data on social media as an effort to avoid doxing for teenagers. Data collection was carried out by means of literature studies, survey through questionnaire, and interviews. The design stage includes pre-production, production and post-production. The result of the design is a short duration 2D animated video series with a vertical format that is uploaded via video-based social media for educational purposes.
