INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/73300 This research provides an in-depth exploration of the role of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) in fortifying supply chain efficiencies amongst suppliers, distributors, buyers, and financial institutions through collaborative strategies. With its increasing implementation on a global scale, SCF has emerged as an instrumental tool for optimizing profit by streamlining physical, product, and information flows across the supply chain. Our study focuses on West Java, a region plagued by supply chain issues in its poultry chain products such as suboptimal financial performance, decentralized data management, and the absence of strategic interaction among various players. Leveraging a qualitative approach via content analysis, this research aims to comprehend the prevailing business landscape and to devise an optimal conceptual model suitable for the West Java supply chain milieu. Notably, this study primarily examines the financing system aspect of a supply chain, while its scope focusing on poultry supply chain and is geographically limited to the West Java region. This investigation unfolds over three distinct phases. The initial phase comprises a thorough review of existing literature, shedding light on the status of supply chains in developing countries, and presenting potential conceptual models that could align with West Java's unique circumstances. The second phase involves the collection of primary and secondary data from domain experts and governmental agencies in West Java. The final phase sees the author processing and interpreting the amassed data to discern the most fitting conceptual model for implementation in the West Java supply chain. The identification of prevailing issues contributes to averting potential financial, technical, and environmental losses. Furthermore, the research findings serve to mitigate risks by scrutinizing experiences and lessons learned from the West Java poultry supply chain. Additionally, our study infuses theoretical framework reviews and change management strategies to illustrate how SCF solutions could bolster overall supply chain performance. By exemplifying the possible applications of SCF, our research offers insightful guidance to facilitators, potentially reducing impediments to sustained and accelerated poultry supply chain performance. text |
