Most of the waste produce by textille industry, especially wastewater is produced from dyeing process and textille processing. ELHI (PT Eco Laundry Hijau Indonesia) is a textille finishing industry, that focused on finishing processes like dyeing and textille processing. In this research, a GHG (greenhouse gases) emission inventory was carried out to see how much GHG produced in textile finishing industry production activity. The inventory will focus on CO2, CH4, and N2O from various sources. The emission sources that will be inspected includes a generator, curing machine, operational vehicle, and electricity ussage. The inventory methodology was carried out bassed on IPCC 2006, that stated to determine GHG emission, an activity data and emission factor from that source is needed. The activity data used in this research was acquired from company documentation data like fuel consumption, wastewater quality, and electricity usage. Emission factor used in this reseach was from the local emission factor that was available, and from global emission factor reffering to IPCC 2006 document. This emission inventory results on the values of various emission source, with the total of 639,74 tonCO2 GHG emission from ELHI in 2021. The GHG emission in ELHI are dominated by CO2 gas. Which most of comes from electricity usage source. GHG emission produce by ELHI are not that high compared with similar industry, but still can be improved further more with some mitigation measures such as installing a solar panel, and constructed wetland. text |
