The PocketBook was developed in this project for Senior High Schools (SMA) in Indonesia. The selection of trigonometry material is based on the low student learning outcomes in this material. Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the angles of triangles and trigonometric functions, such as sine, cosine, and tangent, which require thought processes. The difficulties faced by students in learning trigonometry material are related to solving problems related to trigonometry applications. Factors that cause student errors in solving trigonometry problems are carelessness, students' wrong understanding of the material, students' lack of knowledge about prerequisite knowledge, and mistakes in reading questions. In the other side, the lack of use of school textbooks is felt to be less effective for students because these teaching materials have an unattractive appearance, sentences are too long, examples of pictures are unclear, and the size of the book is considered impractical to carry anywhere, so students are less interested in reading or studying the teaching materials. In addition, students do not have other reference books outside the textbook. This has an impact on students' low understanding of trigonometry material. One of the references to teaching materials is a pocket book. A pocket book is a small book containing information that can be stored in a pocket so that it can make it easier for students to learn the material under any circumstances because the pocket book can be carried anywhere. Through pocket books, students can get information without wasting time trying to find out its essence. The scope of material in this pocket book is all trigonometry material that is studied at the high school level. By summarizing all trigonometry material, inserting facts related to trigonometry, and proving formulas that are rarely presented in school textbooks, the pocket book also contains routine questions and questions that require higher-level thinking accompanied by discussion. The research method used in this study is a mixed method. Mixed method is a research method between quantitative methods and qualitative methods to be used together in a research activity.Combination research will provide a better understanding of a research problem when compared to single research. The development model used as a reference in making this pocket book is the 4-D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The Defining Stage includes five steps, namely, initial-end analysis, student analysis, material analysis, learning objectives analysis, and task analysis. The Design stage includes four steps: preparation of tests, selection of media, selection of formats, and making initial designs. The Development stage includes four steps, namely, product validation by trigonometry material experts, namely math teachers, and design experts, namely multimedia teachers. After the pocket book was validated, the pocket book was tested on students of SMAN 1 Batang Hari to see the level of practicality and effectiveness of the pocket book. Practicality tests, namely in the form of teacher assessment questionnaires and student response questionnaires to the Trigonometry Pocket Book for High School Level. In the effectiveness test, namely using The Paired Sample T-Test and N-Gain Score, it was found that there was an effect of using a pocket book quite effective in learning trigonometry to improve student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the trial, the pocket book was revised again so that it could be widely distributed, both in print media and electronic media (pdf). text
