The goals of this research is to conserve the folklore through interactive games, so that the teenager can learn the values and morals of the story as well and appreciate their regional cultural heritage. The research methodology used in this thesis is qualitative and quantitative, which involves the initial research stages, story analysis, game concept design, prototype development, and evaluation by users and uses data from questionnaire results. In the initial research stage, exploration and in-depth study of the folklore "Putri Kaca Mayang" from Riau such as information about the characters, cultural background, and main conflicts in the story. This information forms the basis for designing the game concept. After analyzing the folklore "Putri Kaca Mayang," a game concept design then carried out which combines these elements. Players will take on the role of the protagonist who must explore the world in the story, complete missions and face challenges that test their skills and wits. From designing this game, it is hoped that the results will contributes to the preservation and promotion of the folklore "Putri Kaca Mayang" from Riau, Indonesia through interactive game media. This game prototype is also expected to be a means of education and entertainment that enriches local knowledge and pride, as well as introduces Indonesian folklore to players from various cultural backgrounds. text
