One of the key mitigation efforts is providing accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible information. This information should also be accessible to individuals from any background. The information, which contains disaster mitigation measures, is aimed at increasing public awareness of existing disasters, thereby minimizing the resulting risks. The objective of this research is to provide information that fulfills user requirements in accordance with policies and regulations, thereby safeguarding user rights. The data used consists of primary and secondary data related to disaster risk management for disaster mitigation. The methods employed include literature review, information extraction, real-world concepts in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis, and identification of regulations and policies. The results of this research are information that can be used by users to minimize the potential risks caused by the eruption of Mount Semeru. The information generated in this study is visualized in the form of maps that have a system within them. The maps resulting from this research are the Map of Areas Affected by the Mount Semeru Eruption on December 4, 2021, Map of Facilities Affected by the Mount Semeru Eruption on December 4, 2021, Map of Observation and Evacuation Post Locations for Semeru, Map of Mount Semeru Eruption Hazards, and Map of Disaster Evacuation Routes for the Mount Semeru Eruption. The maps are created based on user requirements formulated according to existing regulations and policies so that the provided information can be beneficial for users in their mitigation efforts. text |
