Summary: | <p align="justify">Building deformation analysis has been applied to the apartment building owned by PT X in Balikpapan as a monitoring effort. This research is specifically conducted to discuss the analysis of building deformation in PT X Balikpapan's apartment. Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) technology equipped with GNSS and inclinometer sensors in this final project research is used to scan the outer foundation columns of PT X's apartment building. There are three objectives in this study, namely to determine the appropriate method for determining the magnitude of building deformation, to identify the magnitude of building deformation that occurs in PT X's apartment, and to assess the feasibility of PT X's apartment building against applicable standards. Since the appropriate method for determining the magnitude of building deformation is not yet known, a methodological study is conducted in this research to address this issue. The results of the research indicate that the appropriate method for determining the magnitude of building deformation is determined by the conditions of the foundation column surface. The appropriate method for uneven surfaces cannot be directly determined by selecting the bottom and top points of the foundation's sample point clouds, but it requires the use of statistical methods such as linear regression. This research also produces processing steps that need to be performed in the analysis of building deformation. These steps include data classification, sample selection, surface testing, slope testing, error estimation, and result presentation. All of these stages are carried out to analyze the deformation of PT X's building in Balikpapan, and the results show that the deformation occurring in PT X's apartment cannot be determined at present.
