Summary: | <p align="justify"> Rapid economic development and increasing population density have made accessibility of public infrastructure in the form of adequate public facilities and social services urgently needed. The conservative funding system has started to become irrelevant, resulting in an alternative in the form of Land Value Capture (LVC) scheme as a potential source of funding for public investment. The urban area of Bandung basin as a national strategic area from an economic perspective requires special mapping that focuses on the potential of economic sector. This study tried to model Economic Hotspot to see which areas are the concentration of economic sector development in the city of Bandung. The methodology used was data collection on the location of economic sector according to the business sector which was given weight based on gross domestic regional produc (GDP), analysis of regional potential using location quotient, shift share analysis and klassen typology as well as literature studies. The result obtained from this modeling was in the form of a heatmap that visualizes the distribution of areas that have a concentration of leading and potential economic sectors in the city of Bandung. This economic hotspot modeling is expected to be the basis for land value capture scheme planning which will lead to an increase in land prices in the future.
