Summary: | This study is research to build a smart energy metering and forecasting electricity
bills system. In this study, there are four main subsystems: Embedded System and
Internet of Things circuit, Android application, Backend application, and machine
learning for electricity bills prediction. This paper will explain 2 main subsystems
which are Android application, and Backend application. The development of the
system in this report focuses on being a solution related to excessive use of electrical
energy which is resolved with the help of Android application and Backend
application. Android and Backend applications that are created will be integrated
by the two other subsystems that have been described previously. In the
development of this system, a method is used that starts with gathering system
requirements, analyzing system architecture, making system design, implementing,
testing, and system integration. The development of these subsystems is using
NodeJS for the backend application and Android Studio with Kotlin for the android
application. In conclusion, this system will allow users to carry out both monitoring
and controlling related to daily electricity usage. |
