Summary: | <p align="justify">Yogyakarta International Airport is an airport in Kulon Progo Residence that was built to be the main node for air movements in Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, replacing Adisutjipto International Airport in which its capacity could not contain future air movement demands.
The airport is planned to serve ever increasing air operations and airside facilities performance will decrease with the increase of operations. As low level of airside performance would be a hindrance for various stakeholders, an airside must be treated right before performance limit was crossed. Observed performance indicator in this study is delay with the acceptable limit for delay is 6 minutes/operation.
The main objective of this study is to establish a method for airside treatment programming using simulation model with delay as the main performance indicator of the airside. The plan contents will be restricted to only the years when airside treatment must be done, recommended treatment, and total implementation cost calculation.
Based on the study, it was obtained that there will be 3 types of treatment for Yogyakarta International Airport that must be implemented in its life cycle: the surge of operating hours in 2033 and 2039, apron development in 2028 and 2034, and passengers shift from large to heavy aircraft in 2025, 2030, 2035, and 2040. The total cost for all the mentioned treatment is Rp. 335.622.911.810.
