As part of the efforts towards the transformation to Industry 4.0 in Indonesia, the Indonesian Government conducted an assessment of industry readiness through the INDI 4.0 assessment implemented by PT Surveyor Indonesia (PT SI). During the interview process, several gaps were identified in the INDI 4.0 assessment, including the lack of effective mechanisms for document storage and management, ineffective communication among stakeholders, and unorganized supervision in the INDI 4.0 assessment. To address these gaps, knowledge management was implemented to assist the organization in systematically and effectively storing, managing, and collaborating knowledge. The application of knowledge management was carried out using the Business Process Oriented Knowledge Management (BPOKM) model, which can identify the flow of knowledge based on organizational business processes and support and enhance workflow through the use of knowledge management tools in the INDI 4.0 assessment. In this study, the use of knowledge bases, document libraries, social network services, video communication and webinars, and collaborative virtual workspaces is proposed as knowledge management tools to address the gaps in the INDI 4.0 assessment. These knowledge management tools were chosen to complement the knowledge management process, particularly in terms of knowledge storage, sharing, and application. With the implementation of these knowledge management tools, PT SI can retain knowledge from experienced employees, enhance effective communication among employees, improve knowledge sharing and collaboration, support structured supervision, and increase the added value and competitiveness of PT Surveyor Indonesia as a consultant in the INDI 4.0 assessment.
