Besides education building, the Government of Japan also assistance the other public facilities, such as hospital, station, airport, language center of study, etc. Assistance of education facility signed that was existing source culture designer (Japanese) which influence design in Indonesia. In correlation with, researcher find the problem concept of Japanese because the difference culture background. To solve the problem, the case study which choose is the Faculty of Science and Mathematics Building, Indonesia University of Education, that made by Japanese in Bandung. This thesis attempts to understand about the principle of education building in Indonesia, understand about the concept of building education made by Japanese in Indonesia, along with to find the implication of architectural and interior design made by Japanese to user in Indonesia. The typological method is utilized to facilitating the data collection, with the qualitative approach like sketch and direct explanation from a certain of interior styles as the instrument to analyze it. This thesis reveals only a portion application problem of culture background difference (Japanese) with local culture (Indonesian). Public facility was not available (seats case), stair was so tight, and the elements of building (fences and trellis) were not complete had been disturbed the pattern of circulation in this building. text
