INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/73663 Warehouse of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies in Indonesia have a large volume of goods and high mobility. One of the problems in these warehouses is that the stock opname accuracy is not 100% due to human error. To address this issue, a solution is proposed, which is an integrated hardware- software management system. This solution integrates Ultra High Frequency Radio Frequency Identification (UHF RFID) based data acquisition hardware with a warehouse management system, automating operational activities in the warehouse prone to human error, providing guidance and notifications to warehouse workers, and enabling faster stock opname. This final project document focuses more on the development of the data acquisition subsystem and its overall results. The data acquisition subsystem consists of tags to store data of items in a box, gate scanners to read tags on a pallet at the warehouse gate, and rack scanners to read tags on a pallet in the racks. The tag readings by the scanners are sent to the gateway for forwarding to the server for processing. The processed results are displayed on the user interface or can be in the form of LED notifications on the scanner, triggered by signals sent through the gateway. After designing and implementing the system, functional and specification testing are conducted. The test results show that the system functions properly but still has limitations in the accuracy of reading multiple tags in a single scan by the scanner. The causes of this issue are analyzed and improvements are proposed for further development. text
