This is due to the many phenomena that occur around the North Coast of Java. The location of Tirang Beach is close to Ahmad Yani airport, Semarang City. To be exact, Tirang Beach is located in Tambakrejo Village, Tugurejo, Tugu, Semarang City, Central Java. This location is one of the locations that received special attention due to severe abrasion and erosion problems. It is also supported by by the rise of sea level caused by climate change, the decline in the coastline continues to occur. This makes losses that impact the community, especially in the tourism and economic fields where previously mangrove forest tourist areas. Because of these problems, the Tirang Beach area requires restoration efforts to create new land in front of it. So that there is a need for structural efforts, one of which is by building an Artificial Fish Apartment which is also a new habitat for marine animals and a tourist attraction. Of course, the main goal is to protect the beach from destructive waves and catch sediment. In modelling the condition of hydrodynamic phenomena and sediment transport, a combination of the Delft3D-Flow and Delft3D-Wave models was carried out. Bathymetry and DEM data input uses the National Bathymetry and DEMNAS datasets. Input aspects that are taken due to the model are from OSU TPXO 7.2, NOAA wind data, and sediment from longshore transport. Erosion that occurs identified by previous research is also taken due the modelling. Modelling is done in 5 structural scenarios with their existing conditions. Therefore, the effect of coastal restoration in the form of an Artificial Fish Apartment structure in front of Tirang Beach is through analysis at the observation point. text |
