Summary: | Currently, researchers at the Research Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology ITB and
the Faculty of Medicine UNPAD do not yet have the tools to test electrochemical-based sensors
to detect the presence of cardiac biomarkers. Therefore, a tool is needed that can support the
sensors that have been developed by researchers in detecting cardiac biomarkers using
electrochemical methods. The solution designed in this final project is a potentiostat. In this
final project book, we will discuss more specifically about the control unit system part of the
potentiostat. The control unit system part of the potentiostat system is divided into several
components: Microcontroller, Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), Digital-to-Analog
Converter (DAC), and Impedance Analyzer. The designed potentiostat system is expected to
generate input signals and read measurement results for three types of measurements: Cyclic
Voltametry, Differential Pulse Voltametry, and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. The
results of the implementation and testing of this final project are that the final product of the
potentiostat has succeeded in producing an input signal for the measurement of Cyclic
Voltametry, Differential Pulse Voltametry, and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. In
addition, the system can also show the characteristics of the three measurements. |
