Summary: | PT Mitirisk is a firm in Indonesia that specializes in business advisory and due diligence services. The firm has operated since 1997, and mainly works for Japanese conglomerate companies operating in Indonesia. The company gained the client's trust and Japanese companies tended to be loyal. In the recent months, PT Mitirisk definitely has been faced with the increasing demand of due diligence services from Japanese companies operating in Indonesia. However, PT Mitirisk inability to meet the increasing demands essentially resulted in the company to only for the most part take some of the projects and left the rest for the competitors to take. This research essentially is made to tackle this business issue. To handle the issue that has been going on for months, this research analyses its current capacity. The capacity is analysed through the output historical data, demand historical data, design capacity and capacity utilisation. After the capacity generally has been analysed, this research forecasts the demand using exponential smoothing to actually know how much capacity PT Mitirisk really needs in the future. To basically keep up with the demand, demand management strategies literally were then used called “match strategy.” With 18 factors that influence demand being surveyed to all the employees of due diligence division, PT Mitirisk specifically match strategy is particularly fit with the firm. The research proves that actually match strategy essentially is fit to firm’s characteristics and needs. The match strategy consists of outsourcing, it has its benefits and risks. Which then its risk basically needs to kind of be managed. Through FGD and surveys on its employees we can then identify those risks and rank those risks and try to manage them. The before and after result will specifically be then visualised through a risk heat map to purposely understand them better. The finding shows that PT Mitirisk can gain extra profit through outsourcing. PT Mitirisk can take every project and meet every demand from clients through outsourcing. This is helpful for PT Mitirisk as a company so that they can increase their capacity and profit. This for the most part is also beneficial for the employees so that the workload can be better distributed, which is fairly significant. This for the most part is also helpful for clients get what they want and specifically spend less time executing each project because there’s no need to hassle to generally find another consulting firm to work on their project.
