Summary: | Matraman Communal Living, located in the City of East Jakarta, is designed as an
affordable place to live to meet human needs in urban areas with high population
density and prioritizes structuring the environmental context. Tower 3 Communal
Living, which consists of 2 buildings with 12 floors each, consists of commercial
units and residential units. Plumbing system planning is carried out referring to SNI
8153:2015 and SNI 03-3989-2000. The plumbing system is designed with the
concept of green plumbing and sustainable aspects, because it uses a recycled water
system so that it can save on the use of clean water. The plumbing system designed
includes clean water, waste water, vent, recycled water, rainwater, and fire fighting
systems. The need for clean water from PDAM is 378.3 m3/day, while the need for
recycled water from greywater and rainwater processing is 198,1 m3/day. The
recycled water is used for flushing toilets and watering plants. The storage of clean
water and recycled water uses ground water tanks located in the basement and roof
tanks of each building. The plumbing system separates blackwater, greywater and
yellowwater, gray water will be processed at a used water treatment plant into
recycled water, yellowwater will flow to the urine tank, meanwhile blackwater will
flow from the plumbing equipment to the city sewer pipe. The vent pipe is installed
with a loop system for plumbing equipment other than kitchen sinks, and a single
system for kitchen sinks. The rainwater plumbing system drains rainwater by
gravity to the treatment unit. The fire extinguishing system uses sprinklers and
hydrants which are sourced from clean water.
