Summary: | The rapid development of information technology and changes in the business
environment have necessitated businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium
enterprises (MSMEs), to adapt in order to remain competitive. Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) systems are one of the technologies that businesses can choose to
support their processes and business strategies. Odoo S.A offers an ERP system
solution that is relatively easy and cost-effective to implement for MSMEs. The
Odoo software, previously known as OpenERP, has an open-source version that
can meet the needs of MSMEs.
CV XYZ is a medium-sized MSME operating in the textile industry. So far, the
human resource management process at CV XYZ has been manually performed
using Microsoft Excel. However, due to the increasing complexity and magnitude
of human resource management activities at CV XYZ, the manual processing of
data and information is no longer considered efficient.
This final project aims to design the implementation of a human resource
management system at CV XYZ, following the Action Design Research (ADR)
approach. The process includes identifying the current as-is business processes,
analyzing the gaps with best practice business processes, system design and
implementation, and concluding with an evaluation of the implementation results.
The evaluation results using the User Acceptance Test method in this research
indicate that the usability aspect scored 77%, the Information Quality aspect scored
88%, and the Interaction Quality aspect scored 90%. Therefore, the average total
score of the User Acceptance Test is 85%. Based on the Likert scale, this evaluation
score indicates that users have a very positive perception of the implemented Odoo
system.
