Summary: | Oskar area located in North West Java Basin, in offshore of Jatibarang Sub-basin.The
purpose of this research are to understanding the tectonic setting and sedimentation pattern in synrift phase. There is east-west tectonic activities in Jatibarang Sub-basin that influence formation of
basin in research area.
Tektonostratigraphy and sedimentation pattern studies are based on sequence stratigraphic
on well log data in cross section such as A-A’ and B-B’ in North – South orientation and cross
section C-C’ in West – East orientation, conventional core, biostratigraphic data, seismic 3D data
for make geometrical and paleogeography in Oskar area. Sedimentation pattern analysis of syn-rift
deposit based on well data and seismic attribute spectral decomposition.
Paleogen deposit in Oskar area has divided into three intervals namely Basement –
Jatibarang Top interval, Jatibarang – Sequences Boundary 1 interval, and Sequences Boundary 1 –
Maximum Flooding Surface 1 interval. Based on conventional core which is integrated with
depositional environment biostratigraphic data and seismic attribute, each interval in Paleogen
deposit have facies alluvial-fan-delta complex, fluvial complex, and deltaic complex.
The result of tectonostratigraphy analysis, Paleogen deposit in Oskar area is effected by
normal faults in North West – South East and North – South orientation with sedimentation
occurred in the flexural margin. |
