In these waters there are sedimentary basins, including Sunda and West Java. Based on the condition of the potential for hydrocarbons in this basin, exploration activities have been carried out to find existing resources. In order to develop and increase oil and gas recovery, this research will carry out 3D modeling of magnetic bedrock in the waters of the Java Sea using the MATLAB-based MagB_Inv program with magnetic anomaly data. This program can estimate the 3D geometry of the subsurface interface from each magnetic anomaly value and find out information on the depth and shape of the magnetic bedrock. This research resulted in the 3D modeling of magnetic bedrock in the waters of the Java Sea, with an average depth of 6.1 km.
