These data streams are wirelessly transmitted to an edge device for subsequent processing, utilising the MQTT communication protocol due to its superior performance in terms of throughput and latency compared to HTTP. Furthermore, the paper delves into the various design considerations and component selection undertaken to ensure adherence to the specific requirements and specifications of the system. The implementation results have been deemed satisfactory; however, certain shortcomings have been identified, particularly in relation to accuracy and reliability. text |
