Unfortunately, some big instances, such as hospitals are experiencing difficulty in managing every access event because of the high degree of mobility among people within the hosptial. Such instances need such system which has the ability to effectively manage access, accurately authenticate users, record activities and prioritize the safety of people within. Therefore, Bluetooth Low Energy based access control system is proposed as a solution that can fulfill those needs. This system is divided into 4 subsystems: Key, Lock, Server, and Admin Panel.. This documentation discusses the process required to make the Lock Subsystem which are the system plans, implementations, and testings on both hardware and firmware. At the end of the development, a Lock subsystem which has the capability of authentication security, good responsiveness, and failsafe features has been succesfully created and integrated among other subsystems. text
