Summary:The process of urbanization is currently developing very rapidly where half of the world's population lives in urban areas. Job opportunities, good infrastructure, cultural diversity, access to good health services, a variety of shopping choices, recreational activities and entertainment are the attractions of urban areas which have led to an increase in public consumption in urban areas. The strength of public consumption can become a new economic force in area. Urban areas are currently a growth engine for a country, making competition between cities increasingly acute in providing comfortable, safe, innovative and attractive urban areas to become places. various ways are carried out to form effective urban governance to achieve development goals. Urban governance is a very complex matter because it involves the interaction of many actors so that urban governance describes how internal political relations are built. The governance model in terms of internal political relations can be seen through political relations, political logic, key actors involved and political goals. In 1970-1980, managerial governance was increasingly replaced by forms of entrepreneurialism which the government was more proactive and innovative in finding ways to achieve goals and get out of urban problems. entrepreneurialism as a response to economic problems that hit several developed countries in Europe and America. Urban entrepreneurialism has the main characteristics of public and private partnerships that emphasize the interests of private sector businesses in promoting cities to be integrated with government forces to attract external resources, new investment, and new sources of labor. In addition, entrepreneurialism has the characteristics of speculative nature and political economy of the place. The development of urban entrepreneurialism governance has a substantial impact on the macro economy. The Rebana Region consists of 6 regencies and 1 city which are planned to become new urban areas which are being developed on intentionly. The forming of new urban areas in the Rebana Region is expected to become an engine of economic growth in the northern and eastern regions of West Java Province to reduce income disparities between regions by increasing investment growth and increasing regional competitiveness. In terms of objectives, the concept of urban entrepreneurialism is aligned with the objectives of establishing urban areas in the Rebana Region. The purpose of this study is to identify the concept of urban entrepreneurialism from the perspective of informal political relations in governance formed in the Rebana area. The aim of this research is to identify political relations, identify political logic, identify the iv key actors involved and identify political objectives in the Rebana Region. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach that uses content analysis to identify political relationships, political logic and political objectives in the Rebana Region. Meanwhile, to identify the key actors involved using stakeholder analysis. In terms of political relations, governance in the Rebana Region has similarities with the concept of urban entrepreneurialism because there is active involvement of the government and the private sector in managing the region. Politically, the governance of the Rebana Region has similarities with the concept of urban entrepreneurialism because decisions are made by consensus of the government and the private sector, academics and the community. The key actors in the governance of the Rebana Region have similarities with the key actors in the urban entrepreneurialism concept, namely the government and the private sector where the government and the private sector have strong importance and influence. Meanwhile, in terms of political objectives, the forming of new urban region in the Rebana Region has similarities with the concept of urban entrepreneurialism, namely economic growth, increased investment and increased regional competitiveness. Research with the concept of urban entrepreneurialism seen from the perspective of informal political relations is research that has never been done before. For this reason, this research is expected to provide additional theoretical understanding regarding urban entrepreneurialism governance
