Two main driving components to achieve this future are by accelerating the use of solar energy and increasing the penetration of electric vehicles. But there are major problems to tackle, which are lack of surface area that can be used for PV modules in urban areas, lack of charging infrastructure, and relatively high emission from power production for EV (Electric Vehicle) battery charging. To tackle these problems, in this research, a BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) carport will be designed in a public parking space to supply charging station demand in an urban area. The chosen location is the parking space of Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). The PV module utilized has a 540 Wp capacity and the total number of PV modules is 1.368 modules. A total of 12 30 kW charging stations are used as the load needed to be supplied. The resulting simulation showed the total energy production is 977.9 MWh with a 77% PR on the first year and a solar fraction for charging needs of 52.67%. It is also found that BIPV supplied BEV kgCO2 daily WTW emission has a decrease of 49.57% compared to grid supplied BEV and the acquired LCOE is Rp 904/kWh. text
