Indonesia has signed Chemical Weapons Convention on January 13, 1993 and ratificated through Undang-undang no 6 tahun 1998 on September 30, 1998. Because of CWC is a legally binding instrument internationally, Indonesia must to comply as alegally binding instrument nationally and internationally.
The Title of the research: The Evaluation of Ratification Piugiaut of CWC in Indonesia The objective of this research isto identify dominant factors in influencing the implementation of CWC in Indonesia, data and information obtained are processed by using Analitical Efirarchicy Process (AHP) technique. Furthermore, it is to identify the programs of CWC that have already and not yet implemented base on the criteria and terms of CWC, as well as whats the inhibiting factors. The next step are to formalize and recomendate the measurements to deny the inhibiting items. The implementation of analysis included the theoritical review as well as emperical observation, whereas the frame of analysis used: Rationalist Models, those are: Program Evaluation, Problem Analysis, Problem solving Analysis. From the Hirarchy Analysis of CWC Implementation, the dominanators as the dominant factors of CWC are : Institutionalization (0,243);Legislation (0,243); Dissemination (0,176): Declaration (0,139); Verification (0,110) and Insepction (0,087), these are justificated by rights and obligations according to the terms of convention , in a frame of achieving the main objective of CWC implementation i.e. a complience to the CWC. |
