THE CREATION OF A APPLICATION-BASED INDEPENDENT INITIAL SCREENING AS AN PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS CASE DETECTION

Tuberculosis was a chronic infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. In Indonesia 2021, there were 969,000 cases with an incidence of TB cases of 354 per 100,000 population, and the death toll was estimated at 150,000 cases or 55 per 100,000 population. Meanwhile, t...

Meanwhile, the government aimed to achieve the TB elimination target by 2030, with a decrease in the incidence rate to 65 per 100,000 population and a decrease in the death rate to 6 per 100,000 population. The COVID-19 pandemic affected the tracking of discovered cases, and data issues remain a fundamental and important problem that needs to be improved. The final project aimed to create a website-based prototype for self screening to help increase public awareness, faster handling by medical personnel, and help the government track under-reported cases accurately, organized, and more systematic. The research stages were planning, preparation and content validation, design and prototype creation, usability testing and satisfaction testing. In designing and prototyping, Figma application was mainly used. Usability testing and satisfaction testing were conducted through the maze.co platform, with two testing rounds (T1 and T2). Usability testing parameters were misclick rate, duration, and success rate while satisfaction testing used SEQ and SUS methods. Based on the results of usability testing, the misclick rate was 42.70% with p-value of T1 and T2 0.241, the average duration required for respondents to complete the task was 45.9 seconds with p-value of T1 and T2 0.688, and the user success rate in completing the mission was 71.72%. The satisfaction test resulted in a SEQ score of 6.51, which means the task was easy to perform overall, and the SUS score was 80.33, which was an A- and well (accepted). text
